The ABC Program Supporting Education is Back AND bigger than ever!
Beginning with the 2019-2020 school year, our ABC Program is expanding to provide a full year of opportunity to schools in the communities we serve. We’ve traditionally celebrated ABC in the first quarter of each year. Moving forward it will be celebrated all year, providing funds to schools at the beginning of each school year so they can use them all year long.
Since 2001 we’ve raised over $1.3 million for local schools and students. The ABC Program positively impacts schools by providing needed funds for the purchase of programs, supplies, books, equipment, and much more.
Here’s how you can help:
- Use Your Debit Card | School-registered debit cards earn your school 2¢1 each time you complete a debit card transaction using the signature or credit payment option when making everyday purchases. Register your First National 1870 debit card using the link below.
- Rewards for Good Grades | Students K- 12 can drop off their current report card February 15 – March 31, 2020 at any branch location to be entered into a drawing where they get paid for A’s. Five winners per branch are chosen and the winning students earn up to $1003 for their A’s. If their school is a participant in the program, they will also receive a matching donation from us!
- Flash Sales | During the year the bank will host a series of limited time offers to increase overall school donations. For example, we may donate $50 to schools when new personal checking accounts are opened with their school code or we could double the debit card incentive to 4¢ for during specified dates.
