Sunflower Bank Serves as Title Sponsor for 27th Annual Livestrong Challenge

Sunflower Bank and The Livestrong Foundation share a building in Austin, TX that ties us together, but the similarities between our two organizations go far deeper. Both organizations have a passion for supporting the people in their respective communities. For Sunflower Bank, community means the people and businesses in the markets in which we live and work. For The Livestrong Foundation, their community is one they’ve helped establish, cultivate, and empower: cancer survivors. Both Sunflower Bank and The Livestrong Foundation have made substantial impacts on our communities and, for one day each year, our passion overlaps through the Livestrong Challenge, an outstanding annual event put on by The Livestrong Foundation.

The 27th Annual Livestrong Challenge took place on September 10, 2023, with Sunflower Bank as the presenting sponsor of the event. In this role, Sunflower Bank helped play a part in raising $400,000 for cancer survivors. The Livestrong Challenge empowers cancer survivors through daily challenges and encourages others to support their efforts by challenging participants to complete a physical challenge in the heart of beautiful downtown Austin, TX.
