Santa Fe Holiday Tree & Train Display

Over 70 years ago, a beloved community tradition was born in Santa Fe, when the first Holiday Tree & Train Display was set up in our location on the Plaza. We are excited to announce the return of this annual event, with trains running December 15 – January 2.

Members of the Santa Fe Model Railroad Club will be running 0-scale 3 rail Lionel trains daily throughout December and will be at the branch to answer any questions. The display features a Frosty the Snowman train, a special holiday freight train, a Victorian village and a winter village with a skating rink. Dolores F. Overton, Market President for Santa Fe and Los Alamos, is “thrilled” to welcome back the display, and says, “visiting the Plaza at the holidays and coming to see the Tree & Train display has been a tradition for many families for years.”
