“Pay for ‘A’s” Payment to Students Totals $12,130 through March 31
April 22, 2021
Denver, CO (April 22, 2021) – We’re pleased to announce that Sunflower Bank and First National 1870 are paying a total of $12,130 to 183 students through our ABC Program’s “Pay for ‘A’s” drawing. For nine weeks ending on March 31, 2021, all bank branch locations accepted kindergarten through 12th grade students’ report cards for a chance for students to earn $10 for each ‘A’ grade, up to $100. This drawing was open to the general public, no purchase was required for entry, and 5 winners were chosen per branch. As an added benefit, schools that participate in the ABC Program received a matching donation if one of their student’s report cards was chosen.
The ABC Program provides year-round opportunities for local communities to earn money for schools and for students to be rewarded for their scholastic achievements. Since 2001, Sunflower Bank has given away over $1.4 million through the ABC Program.
