About This Branch
Lawrence is a picturesque college town in northeast Kansas and has a population of about 95,000. We are home to the University of Kansas and Haskell Indian Nations University. Sunflower Bank is a member of the Lawrence Chamber of Commerce. We have a great time sponsoring "Mic Drop," an annual lip sync fundraiser for The Willow Domestic Violence Center. Lawrence Public Schools USD 497 and Perry-Lecompton Elementary participate annually in our ABC program and we love giving back to them.
Our employees volunteer with worthy organizations: Go Red Lawrence, Douglas County Extension, and Independence Inc, a non-profit assisting those with disabilities. We participate in United Way annually and are active in Junior Achievement with both fundraising and teaching classes here in Lawrence. The next time you’re on the west side of town, drop in and say hello!
