As Regional Leader, Montes manages Business Banking in the El Paso and Las Cruces markets for First National 1870, a division of Sunflower Bank, N.A.

Montes is in leadership roles for several local organizations including serving as Board member of Kids Excel, Board member of the YWCA of Paso del Norte Foundation, Finance Committee member of the El Paso Chamber of Commerce, and Advisory Board member for Cathedral High School.
