FirstSun Capital Bancorp (“FirstSun”) (NASDAQ: FSUN) reported net income of $22.4 million for the third quarter of 2024 compared to net income of $25.2 million for the third quarter of 2023. Earnings per diluted share were $0.79 for the third quarter of 2024 compared to $1.00 for the third quarter of 2023. Earnings for the third quarter of 2024 were negatively impacted by $1.2 million of merger costs, net of tax, or $0.05 per diluted share.

The Community Partner Awards were created in 2023 to provide grants to outstanding organizations in Sunflower Bank, First National 1870, and Guardian Mortgage communities. From July 30 to August 23, 2024, the public has the opportunity to nominate local community partners in qualified counties of Arizona, Colorado, Kansas, New Mexico, Texas, and Washington for an award.

Trading on Nasdaq is expected to commence on Friday, July 12, 2024 under the Company’s current ticker symbol “FSUN”. Prior to listing on Nasdaq, the Company's shares traded on the OTCQX. Shareholders are not required to take any action as a result of the uplisting.

Earnings per diluted share were $0.45 for the first quarter of 2024 compared to $1.03 for the first quarter of 2023. Earnings for the first quarter of 2024 were negatively impacted by $2.3 million of merger costs, net of tax, or $0.08 per diluted share and a $13.1 million loan charge-off, net of tax, or $0.47 per diluted share.
