In October 2023, we announced the creation of a new Community Partner Award program, led by our Community Affairs Office. The Community Partner Awards recognize outstanding individuals and organizations in Sunflower Bank and First National 1870 communities through seventeen grants of $3,000 to $15,000 that total $80,000. Award recipients have been named and we congratulate them for their important work and thank them for their impact on their respective communities.

Sunflower Bank has donated a total of $101,703 to 139 K-12 schools and school systems that participated in our ABC Program for Education’s 2022-2023 school year campaign. In addition, the ABC Program’s “Pay for As” drawings throughout 2023 resulted in $23,380 in payments directly to students as a reward for academic achievements.

FirstSun Capital Bancorp (OTCQX: FSUN) reported net income of $25.2 million for the third quarter of 2023 compared to net income of $26.5 million for the third quarter of 2022. Earnings per diluted share were $1.00 for the third quarter of 2023 compared to $1.04 for the third quarter of 2022.

FirstSun Capital Bancorp (OTCQX: FSUN) reported net income of $26.3 million for the first quarter of 2023 compared to net income of $7.7 million for the first quarter of 2022. Earnings per diluted share were $1.03 for the first quarter of 2023 compared to $0.41 for the first quarter of 2022. Earnings for the first quarter of 2022 were impacted by $0.3 million of merger costs, net of tax, or $0.01 per diluted share.
